Accessibility statement
At Common App, we're dedicated to making sure our services and processes are accessible to everyone. This includes our websites, apps, communications, and marketing efforts.
We are committed to making our services accessible to everyone by following the latest WCAG 2.1 A/AA guidelines and complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II and Section 508 requirements.
To make sure our solutions are accessible, we test our platforms in-house. We use tools like axe, NVDA, Voiceover, keyboard navigation, and screen magnifiers to proactively identify and address potential barriers. Additionally, we work with third-party partners to conduct compliance and usability audits. Many of them work with people who rely on assistive technologies every day.
We aim to do more than just meet accessibility compliance. Our goal is to ensure that all Common App experiences are user-friendly and barrier-free. This aligns with our mission in the pursuit of access, equity, and integrity in the college admissions process.
