The Claremont Colleges
As part of The Claremont Colleges, Pitzer students can choose from 2,100+ classes across the five campuses, conduct research, attend events, and enjoy 250 clubs and 17 eateries across the consortium each semester.

The Pitzer Experience
Everything we do at Pitzer is guided by our five core values, which are Social Responsibility, Intercultural Understanding, Interdisciplinary Learning, Student Engagement and Environmental Sustainability. Interdisciplinary fields like Environmental Analysis, Media Studies and Human Biology top the list of our most popular majors, while students live and learn in LEED-certified buildings surrounded by native-to-California and drought tolerant landscaping. Students sit on every major college committee, including the Faculty Tenure Committee, as voting members. Pitzer is a top producer of Fulbright Fellowship recipients, and 53% of our students will study abroad before they graduate.

Financial Aid
Pitzer is committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated need through a combination of grants, loans and work-study. Limited merit aid is also available. During the 2024-2025 academic year, approximately 41.6% of the Pitzer student body received some form of financial assistance. Visit our website for information on need-based financial aid application requirements.
