Additional information

Auburn University awards considerable scholarships every year.
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships awards competitive merit, select need-based, and general scholarships. Academic colleges award departmental scholarships. Students must have a complete applicant file by December 1 for scholarship consideration. Additional test scores must be received by January 12 for updated scholarship consideration.

Scholarships are awarded competitively, and consideration does not guarantee an award. Each entering class competes with itself. Actual awards are determined based on the number of qualified admitted students, the credentials of those applicants, and available funding. Students may receive a select need-based, general, or departmental scholarship in addition to a competitive merit scholarship.

Campus Visit

You’ll sense it when you stand under the oaks at Toomer’s Corner. You’ll feel it when you’re greeted by your future classmates on the red brick sidewalks that snake through campus. You’ll know it when you hear “War Eagle” shouted across Samford Lawn.

Your campus visit to Auburn will feel both familiar and exciting: like coming home again for the first time.
