Capitol Technology University
Capitol is the only independent college in Maryland dedicated to engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, data science and information technology. Capitol's campus is located between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD - an area with one of the largest concentrations of high-tech companies, defense contractors, and government agencies in the country. Our programs integrate scientific theory with hands-on, practical experience - so students graduate job-ready (82% of Capitol students are offered jobs within 90 days of graduation and we offer Loan Repayment Assistance). Capitol's undergraduate community is made up of roughly 450 undergraduate students, with a 16:1 student to faculty ratio.

From the student-made video game console, to the eight centers of excellence and labs; the culture of innovation is deeply ingrained into all aspects of the Capitol Technology experience. In fact, we guarantee up to $20,000 in scholarship to every first-year college student who has participated on a competing robotics, cyber or coding team during their junior or senior year of high school.
