Application information

First-year

Guilford reviews applications holistically. There is no cost to apply. In addition to academic achievements and rigor, first-year applicants are encouraged to thoroughly reflect on meaningful activities and extracurricular achievements in order to maximize their institutional scholarship potential. Guilford is also a test-optional institution. First-year students are defined as those who have not attended a college or university after graduating from high school.

Transfer

At Guilford, transfer students who enter with an associate’s degree are automatically considered juniors. There is no cost to apply. Students who have graduated high school, attended a college, and have obtained more than 24 credits do not need to submit their high school transcripts or test scores within their application.
