Financial Aid and Scholarships at LLCC
At Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC), we understand that paying for college can be challenging. That’s why our Financial Aid office is here to help students navigate their options and access the support they need. The office administers a variety of federal and state aid programs, including grants, loans, and work-study opportunities. To get started, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which determines eligibility for most financial aid.
In addition to traditional aid, the LLCC Financial Aid office also assists veterans, students with disabilities, and recipients of College Illinois and other scholarship programs. Because many of these programs have limited funding, early application is highly recommended to ensure the best chance of receiving all available aid. Most financial aid options require students to be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester.
Students can meet with a financial aid advisor in person or virtually to get personalized assistance. To schedule an appointment, visit www.llcc.edu/financial-aid.
LLCC also offers a wide range of scholarships through the LLCC Foundation, made possible by generous contributions from community members, businesses, and college staff. The scholarship application is available annually from November 15 to February 15 at www.llccfoundation.org for the following academic year. Students selected for scholarships will receive a contract via email, which must be signed and accepted before the funds can be applied to their financial aid package.
Take advantage of these resources to make your education more affordable!
