Application information

First-year

Students currently enrolled in high school (or high school graduates with no other college attended) should complete the First Year application. Radford University reviews everything an applicant submits in an effort to get to know that individual as well as possible. The Office of Admissions requires high school transcript(s) from all high school(s) attended to review for both course grades and strength of chosen curriculum. Radford University does not require SAT or ACT scores; however, students may choose to submit them if they wish. The personal statement, while not required, is strongly recommended.

Transfer

Students who have attended another college following high school should complete the Transfer application. (Students currently enrolled in high school and pursuing Dual Enrollment coursework should complete the First Year application.) Submit transcripts from all colleges attended, whether or not credit was earned or is desired. This includes transcripts from dual-enrollment courses taken in high school as well as official score reports for Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses. An unofficial copy of transcripts may be used for admission review; however, an official copy directly from issuing institution is required prior to enrollment and for transferable credit review. Students must be in good standing at their most current institution to be considered for admission. If you have completed fewer than 24 semester hours of college-level coursework, please also submit your high school transcript with your application. Radford University reviews everything an applicant submits in an effort to get to know that individual as well as possible.

"All of the professors are so supportive and very much wanted us to come here. They wanted to learn about us not just as students, but also who we are as people."
