The Temple University community is diverse, driven and dedicated to making a lasting impact on the world. As a Research 1 university, Temple offers the advantages of a sophisticated research institution with over 30,000 current students, and the individual attention of a small college with a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio. More than 640 academic programs across 17 academic colleges empower students to transform curiosity into action and make us one of the nation’s Top 50 Public Universities (U.S. News & World Report, 2025). Our Main Campus is located less than 2 miles from Center City Philadelphia, making the city our home, our inspiration and our pathway to professional success and cultural experiences—nonetheless, our reach is global, with campuses accessible to all students in Rome, Tokyo, and Kyoto.
