Texas A&M University

Texas A&M University campus
Texas A&M opened its doors in 1876 as the state's first public institution of higher learning. Today, we stand as a research-intensive flagship university dedicated to sending Aggie leaders out into the world prepared to take on the challenges of tomorrow. Located in College Station, Texas A&M is home to over 69,000 students. We are the 2nd largest institution in the nation, but once on campus you'll feel like you’re a part of a small, tight-knit community.
