Additional information
UAH recognizes new first-time freshmen who have demonstrated superior academic achievement in high school. Visit us
UAH campus tours are offered Monday-Friday and select Saturdays throughout the year. During your visit, you’ll get the inside scoop on what it’s like to be a part of Charger Nation and have the opportunity to ask questions about the admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, student life, and housing.
Then it’s time to explore our beautiful campus! Guided by those who know UAH best – our current students – campus tours offer visitors a peek into what makes UAH the perfect place to live and learn. Visitors get to explore our suite-style residence halls, the Salmon Library, the University Fitness Center, the Charger Union, and a typical classroom. Additional appointments with specific campus departments may also be requested.
Learn more about registering and preparing for your visit at uah.edu/visit! We recommend registering at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially if you are requesting additional appointments.Prospective Student Events
We want to meet you! Check out our Prospective Student Events page to see how you can join us at an upcoming event on or off campus.
One of the main selling points of UAH was the job and research opportunities available. I was able to receive a civil engineering internship here in Huntsville during my sophomore year, which was an amazing experience! When I first started college, I did not think I would have this kind of job experience until after I graduated, but through UAH I am.
