Additional information
At UMFK, we believe a high-quality education should also be affordable. Our tuition rates are among the lowest in New England, and we offer numerous scholarships to help students from all backgrounds access their goals. First-year and transfer students are automatically reviewed for merit-based scholarships during the admissions process.
We offer our in-state tuition rates to our Canadian neighbors, and the UMFK Promise Scholarships for our Maine Pell students. Our admissions counselors work closely with you to explore all options for affordability.
The Financial Aid Office assists students in completing the FAFSA and navigating grants, work-study, and loan opportunities. We encourage all students to submit the FAFSA as early as possible to maximize available funding.
In addition to financial support, UMFK offers services such as TRIO, academic advising, wellness programs, and career development to help students succeed in college and beyond.
