First-year

Students will be reviewed on a holistic basis focusing on the strength of the high school record, overall grade point average, grades within the core subjects, dual credit work, and additional application information. High school GPAs are recalculated on an unweighted 4.0-scale.

  • Automatic Admission is offered to students with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and/or if they are in the top 25% of their graduating class.
  • At 2.75-2.99 GPA a student will be holistically reviewed for admission.
  • Any GPA below this criteria is subject to additional review and may be offered a conditional admission if the student is eligible.

Transfer

Transfer student applicants with 24 or more semester hours of college work (dual credit coursework excluded) must:

  • have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (C) on a 4.0 grading system.
  • be eligible to re-enroll in the colleges previously attended.
Transferable credit is college-level academic credit completed at a regionally accredited institution. Credits considered developmental, remedial, technical, or vocational will not transfer for admission purposes.
