WashU is committed to making your education affordable. Here are just some of the ways we make it work for you financially:
- We meet 100% of demonstrated financial need with no-loan offers for all admitted undergraduate students. This means need-based loans are replaced replaced with scholarships, grants, and federal work-study in your financial aid offer.
- Our average financial aid offer is over $73,000, and offers range up to the full cost of attendance.
- Merit-based and need-based scholarships
- Financial aid counselors who work closely with your family throughout your undergraduate years.
- First-year grants to help students cover the cost of necessary school supplies such as a computer, books, residential hall supplies, and winter clothing.
- The WashU Pledge covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing, and food for all four years for qualifying students from Missouri and southern Illinois.
