The WestX Student Experience
Westminster's signature student experience, WestX, is a guided process that begins before students arrive and continues through graduation. Students are guided to identify what motivates them and then choose their academic path accordingly. With the support of faculty and staff mentors along the way, students practice leadership, work in internships, study abroad, and conduct research. Through the WestX journey, students can become career-confident, capable leaders who will make a difference in the world.
Sophomore Study Away
First-year undergraduates who start at the university in Fall 2026 will have a week-long immersive study away experience during their sophomore year. The best part? It’s fully funded by generous donors so that every student can participate.
